Yard Debri/Waste & Fitness Center Doors – Update 3/22/23

Yard Debris/Waste – Waste Pro & COJ

I received a couple of messages that yard debris/waste was not being picked up by Waste Pro for the past three weeks.  I placed a call to Waste Pro and spoke with someone that is going to speak with their dispatcher for our area.  Pickup is supposed to be every Wednesday.  If your yard debris is not being picked up, please contact Waste Pro or City of Jacksonville to report.  Since these are your private accounts, the association is limited in what we can do, but we have called to see if we can get it resolved. 

Fitness Center Front Doors

We are still looking for resolution on the fitness center front doors.  Unfortunately, we have one set of doors and five different vendors that service them.  We just replaced a board that was supposed to assist with the doors operational, but that that resolved one issue and shows we have others taking place as well.  All five vendors are scheduled again to be on property Tuesday to get them operational.  Sonny will be with them during this process to try and get final resolution.

In the meantime:  If you approach the doors to enter, the left-hand side door is not releasing to open.  The right-side door usually will unlock but will not auto-open – you have to go up and pull the door handle to open as the push to assist button is not working.

Door to exit – If you try and press the assist to open button, they will not open, you will have to exit via the left-hand side, as the right-hand side is not unlocking and push the bar to exit.

If the doors are not working, please continue to go to the back to enter the fitness center.
