Community Update 1/23/23
Good afternoon, Residents:
Tuesday, January 24th: Pulte Sales will be in the Ballroom – we have put out the signs regarding parking 9am-Noon but wanted to give you a heads up for the 8:30am-11:30am fitness classes taking place.
The Gallery Lower Lobby
…Is prepping for the pool table to be delivered and setup now on Wednesday, January 25th. It will take most of the day for setup, but anticipate you can begin play on Thursday, January 26th. Even though it is open play during Clubhouse hours, we do have other events/groups that use the facility so just be mindful of noise when exercise classes and interest groups are taking place.
…The Clubhouse is open for all to enjoy 8am-10pm. The Gallery is used for HOA, clubs, and interest group events during scheduled periods. You are more than welcome to come in a grab a drink, sit around the bar, sofas, and available tables. If you schedule a meet up at the same time as an club or interest group event, you are permitted to use available space not being utilized by the scheduled group.
The only time where the lower lobby is restricted to residents is during HOA events that are ticketed or have limited space will have priority of access.
No one is to rearrange furniture without authorization of the management office.
Fitness Center, Classes & Pool/Spa
…Pool & Spa hours are dawn to dusk. No one is permitted to use the spa/pool after hours. There are homes located near this area and noise carries. Once again, no food and beverage and chairs are permitted within 4-ft of the pool/spa area. Violators can lose access privileges for a period.
……No one should be opening doors/gates for someone that they do not know to enter the pool or fitness center. Guests that wish to use the facilities are to be accompanied by the owner and if a registered resident (non-owner relative/partner that resides year-round at the residence).
…Fitness etiquette in the Fitness Center:
- No slamming of weights, dumbbells. If you are unsure how to use the equipment once a month one of our instructors offers an equipment orientation at no charge to residents. Use signup genius to register for the class on the February calendar.
- Make sure you wipe down matts, equipment after use, especially during times of Covid and Flu.
- Be mindful of others using that are sharing the space: singing, playing music from your phone, TV volumes can be disruptive to others.
- Unless a fitness class is taking place do NOT monopolize the equipment. One machine at a time.
…Fitness Classes
- If you are more than 5 minutes late to a class, do not enter as this is a disruption to the class.
- If you do not have your fitness pass, you cannot attend the class.
- Equipment must be properly stored at the end of each class. If you removed matts, they must be returned for the next class.
- Make sure you cancel if you are unable to attend a class.
- We will be looking at class participation now that we are charging for classes. If you have a class that is struggling to have solid participation, help out your instructors by trying to recruit.
- If you have any comments regarding instructors, changes you would like to see, please share them with Lindy at lindy.magiera@fsresidential.com. We will share your comments with the Lifestyle Advisory Council and see what makes the most sense.
- Our goal is to find the right mix of classes for everyone, but they must become self-sufficient in funding themselves.
Preserve
…Preserve is OFF LIMITS. You may trim a vertical cut if plant life is encroaching on your property, but at no time are you tear anything out of the preserve, cut down or damage the preserve. If you are found making modifications, not only will you have to pay to have it repaired/restored but St. Johns Water Management can also issue you fines.
Lifestyle Events:
…Lindy will be hosting an HOA Website Tutorial this Saturday, 28th starting at 2pm (ballroom)
…Jimmy Mazz tickets are still available for Sunday, February 6th for $15.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the clubhouse front desk.
…Superbowl Sunday there is a private event in the ballroom. The Gallery will be open to those that wish to come to the clubhouse and watch the game. If you wish to do a potluck/BYOB event, please work with Lindy. As the game does not start until 8:00ish we are not planning any official HOA event.
